Animation Film Studio Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków
Established in 1957 Animation Film Studio has iniciated education in this field on art colleges in Poland. The studio is a place where young artist, animators, painters, printmakers or sculptors could work on animation filmmaking and enrich their experiences, due to student's interests, focusing on artistic personality. Studio evolved into today’s unit, Animation Film Faculty, which gives the possibility to graduate with a master degree. Animation is being studied in Workshop by many students every year, including foreign scholarship students, treating this art discipline as their specialization or complementary subject to their studies. We are proud of student's and graduate's achievements, youngest artists who have already achieved successes on domestic and foreign festivals including Berlin Film Festival, Cannes, Annecy, New York, Zagreb, Oberhausen, Hiroshima, Museum of Modern Art w New York, Centre Pompidou and many others.
